As is the case with a number of oldtime groups, there are probably several assemblies of The Drifters appearing around the world at any given time. The original members are likely all dead by now, and many men have been in some lineup of the group. Many trace some members to the original by musical genealogy. But, at the end of the day their fame may be based more on their songbook and sound as on the personnel. They were thoroughly entertaining. I took these April 16, 2022 in Washington NC.
