Rural America is disappearing, both the good and bad aspects are dissolving. Of course, change is the sole predictable thing in the world. This gallery is from three long abandoned farm houses that are slowly being subsumed by the forest. 1-7 are in Beaufort County. 8-16 are in eastern Pitt County, as is the old cemetery recently exposed by what seems to be a right-of-way clearing. Many other graves without markers were evident. Week 2 was January 9-15, 2022.
